Risk Management

For all referees born before 1/1/1991:

You MUST have this completed prior to taking a recertification class:

Effective July 1, 2007 in order to be certified or recertified as an USSF soccer referee it is necessary to go through a risk management process if you were born before January 1, 1990. If this applies to you, a RISK MANAGEMENT (criminal background check) certificate or card must be presented to the instructor at either the first meeting of an entry level class or at a recertification class.

The Cost of Risk Management if $10.00 and is valid for 2 years. It is paid by the individual at the time of applying for risk Management. It is your responsibility to obtain and present the certificate or card to the instructor at the class you attend.

The fee of $10.00 needs to be paid by credit card at the time applying.
Once approved you will be notified by email.

If you have a current unexpired risk management card (number), because you are a coach, team official, administrator, etc, THAT RISK MANAGEMENT NUMBER WILL BE ACCEPTED. It must be presented at either a recertification class or at the 1st meeting of an entry level class.
